1984 landete Fancy mit „Slice me nice" seinen ersten Mega-Seller.
In den darauffolgenden Jahren baute er seine Chart-Präsenz kontinuierlich aus und hatte in Folge 8 Hits, die sich alle in den TOP 20 Charts von Media Control plazierten.
In Spanien behauptete Fancy mit „Bolero" 6 Monate lang die Spitzenposition. Es folgten verschiedene Top 10 Hits in Skandinavien, Holland, Belgien, Frankreich und anderen europäischen Ländern.
Auch in den USA hatte Fancy phänomenalen Erfolg - 3 Hits in den Top 10 der US Billboard Dance-Charts.
Bis heute gab Fancy mehr als 500 Konzerte weltweit. In USA, Kanada, Skandinavien und Europa.
„Coccon", Fancy’s Top Ten Hit in England wurde von Pete Waterman, selbst Mitglied, des in den 80er Jahren mega-erfolgreichen Produzenten-Trios Stock, Aitken and Waterman, für die englische TV-Show Hitmen & Her als Thema ausgewählt.
Seitdem 1998 zwei Alben ('Best of' und 'Hitparty') gleichzeitig in die Media Control Charts rasten und Fancy's "Megamix" in der Rotation auf VIVA zum Top-Hit wurde, hat der Künstler absoluten Kultstatus erreicht.
2000 hat Fancy am Ausscheid zum Grand Prix Eurovision telgenommen, mit dem Hit "We can move the mountain" und landete auf den vorderen Plätzen.
Auch heute noch ist das Engagament des Künstlers Fancy sehr stark und nicht nur die Tatsache der zahlreichen Auftritte, vielmehr auch die Auswahl und Produktion von Musiktiteln für zahlreiche andere Künstler (Pet Shop Boys u.v.a.) zeugen von einem Künstler mit vielen Ideen.

Fancy was an instant hit when the single "Slice me nice" shot on top of the charts in 1984.
He could not have hoped for a better beginning to a long and colourful career of international success.
Since then, Fancy has continued with his hit making and has been in Germany's media control "Musikmarkt Top 20" Single Charts eight times. In Spain, Fancy's Hit Single "Bolero" soared to Number One and held the position for six months.
He followed this with various Top 10 hits in Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and other parts of Europe.
In USA Fancy has been three times Top 10 in the U.S. Billboard Dance Charts.
Fancy has given more than 1000 concerts in USA, Canada, Asia, Scandinavia and Europe.
Not only is Fancy producing his own music. For e.g. he wrote and produced the Smash Hit in the U.K Charts "Cocoon", the theme song for "The Hitman and Her", a popular British Music TV Show with Pete Waterman, the well known man from the Stock, Aitken and Waterman team and PWL Record, U.K..
